she was like a sink drainpipe
and I was like a pretzel;
together, we were bent and twisted;
but that's alright since there were few evils
that either one of us had ever resisted.
she's dead now, God rest her soul;
and it's little wonder that between
her silence
and my distance,
that we were torn apart;
but boy oh boy, that girl knew
how to rock and roll.

This is perfect! The 1st stanza blew me away and the last made me sigh! Well written.
