the unexpected coffin

this will be the latest era of
the unexpected coffin;
it's easy to see how so many
just decide to leave:

too much heartbreak,
too much soul-ache
for one person to bear;
too much to carry,
too far to go before you get anywhere;
enough struggle and strife,
more than enough for one life:

so they let go
they let go
they let go

and it is so quiet and still
that you want to start a riot
you want to spill the beans,
but you don't
