retirement: hell no

listening tonight

and singing his latest --
Last Good Time in Town --
makes me remember
that as I age,
I am committed to always railing
against putting any of us
out to pasture,
especially when we finally,
really, have it all down:
18, with 36 years of experience;

that ought to be more than enough.
