kneeling

she told me
that she was not
"bikini-ready,"
and more than
just my eyes
disagreed;

she told me
that she had hard
work to do,
and every part
of me agreed;

she told me
I have a one-track
mind, and I
decided how to
plead;

and quickly
dropped to
my knees.
