Just a Friend

The booty calls always go pretty smooth,
Though I'm the one with something to prove:
Still got it, old man?
Let's just see if you still can:
And I will know,
I will know for sure,
If more than a day elapses
Between one call and the next call,
If there is any reason at all
To take the rest of the fall,
Or if I'm just a friend,
Nothing more to it,
Nothing more to it.
Anything else would just be
Pretend;

    This is awesome. The language flows in is own lyrical way without any real regard for convention and it sounds at times like the braggadocio of a sullen teenager and ends with the lucid realization of an older man. Brilliant stuff.
