you should know

I was listening to our song this afternoon, and
I was feeling lonely, missing you, more than
just a little out-of-tune, and I was imagining us
as angels, cruising the skies, keeping watch over
all the ones we have loved over our lives, and
bearing witness to the love we share between
us and thinking about loving you forever, for
a really long time, and I was imagining walking
through the fires of Hell for you, and even
imagining you doing the same for me, and I
suppose this all might not make much sense
now, but I just thought that you should know.
