parlay

I brought you
into my world
this past weekend
because
you are a part
of my heart,
the better part
of my thoughts,
and it was
well past time
to do so.
You enthrall me,
as we parlay
an unexpected love
into the next
trillion years or so.
I suppose that
you were already
in here,
and we only now
noticed.
