within me

I closed my eyes just now,
and I realized,
how so very close you are
to me;
you are only a breath away,
a small, swinging sway,
your tantalizing beauty,
just within my grasp,
the hold that will last
a lifetime,
and all that is passed;
I treasure every moment,
that relieves the torment
of not having you,
here, with me,
eternally;
I know you,
and your love for me,
completely;
and I wish for only
one more day,
to have you
within me.
