Aphrodite come down,
as I cleave
the forest in two,
to make a path
from me to you;
Άφροδίτη come down,
as the Sun
melts slowly,
dripping down
in your wake;
Acidalia come down,
as desire
thickens the air,
and I drink it in
deeply;
Cytherea come down,
as all Creation
takes on a patina,
glistening,
dreaming;
Pandemos come down,
as every head
turns, averting,
senses acute,
longing;
Cerigo come down,
as every heart
throbs, pounds,
muscles tensed,
pulsating;
Aphrodite come down,
as the Wind
loses its force,
release,
impending.
