the riggers begin
the delicate dance
of unloading
the 4,000-pound
septic tank
from the truck,
eyeing the huge
concrete box
with suspicion,
and each other
with apprehension:
this ain't horseshoes,
and close enough
is just no damned good:
men could die
doing this wrong;
not to mention
that a broken box
is useless,
just ground up for fill.
