exit, stage left number two

on the cusp of success,
nearly two years of pushing,
pimping, hoping,
now limping
toward the finish line,
which I still hope to see:
still want to find a way
to keep producing,
succeeding,
until that last day;
dammit, let me write
my way out of here!
