breathe deep,
and inhale me,
as I do You,
every moment
that we are
together,
wound tight
against each other,

in a sea of sheets
twisted
beyond recognition,

only to sated souls,

in an ever-growing sea
of emotional insecurity;

take comfort,

as I do, each time
we touch eternity,

as was always

be my heart,

be all that I know;

and my omega:
my Only One,
even when this life
is undone.
